Zinc Stearate Zn-55 is a neutral zinc soap renowned as the most effective mould release agent. It offers hydrophobic properties and serves as an adhesion protector in rubber. Additionally, it functions as an external lubricant and is highly compatible with all plastic and coating applications. It is especially valuable in the paint industry. Moreover, it is used in calcium zinc stabilizers to enhance their performance and effectiveness.
Lubrication Mechanism: Zinc stearate primarily provides lubrication by forming a thin, slippery surface film. This film reduces friction and wear between moving parts or between a mould and apart, which is why it is commonly used as a mould release agent.
