Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) is a thermoplastic resin obtained by copolymerization of ethylene and vinyl acetate. With the increase of vinyl acetate (VA) content, the elasticity, softness, adhesion, compatibility, transparency and solubility of EVA resin are also improved accordingly. Generally, the content of vinyl acetate (VA) is 5% to 40%. Compared with polyethylene, due to the introduction of vinyl acetate monomer in the molecular chain, EVA resin has reduced its high crystallinity and improved flexibility, impact resistance, filler compatibility and heat sealing. Therefore, EVA resin granules are widely used in foam shoe materials, functional shed films, packaging films, hot melt adhesives, wires and cables, and toys and other fields.
