Future Trends

During the four-day exhibition, three high-level seminars were held to provide visitors with valuable insights into the plastics and rubber sectors. Industry experts and professional speakers were invited to discuss the latest market trends, innovations, and future directions of the industry.

The Vietnam Plastics Association organized two seminars during the exhibition. One of them, titled “Strategic Turning Point of Polyolefin and PVC in Asia: Responding to Challenges – Leading the Trend,” focused on PE, PP, PVC, and sustainable materials that are driving the rapid expansion of the plastics market and shifting global trade dynamics toward Asia. The session provided valuable insights into gaining a deeper understanding of these key sectors and addressing the evolving challenges in business and economics.

The seminar was delivered by esteemed industry experts, including Senior PE Specialist, Senior PP Specialist, and Senior PVC Specialist, who shared their expert insights and practical strategies with the audience.

The second seminar, titled “AI – Import Tariffs – ESG: Redefining the Future of Vietnam’s Plastics Industry,” highlighted how AI and ESG have become key topics driving transformation across industries — not only in plastics. The session explored how these factors are fueling market growth, reshaping business ecosystems, and introducing advanced solutions that strengthen the industry’s competitiveness.

It featured distinguished speakers from the Vietnam Plastics Association, Chemical Trading Vietnam, Arthur D. Little, ICIS, and leading manufacturing plants, who shared their expertise and practical insights with the audience.

The third seminar, held under the theme “GreenPlas Vietnam: Financing the Circular Future,” brought together leading figures from the plastics industry to explore the path toward a more sustainable future. The discussion focused on recycling innovations, green financing solutions, and sustainable business practices. It also highlighted the current state of green and climate finance programs supporting the plastics sector, as well as Vietnam’s roadmap toward achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

Representatives from DUYTAN Recycling, Thinh Vuong Plastics, TURN GREEN, BUYO Solutions, BOTOL, and Green Transition shared valuable insights that encouraged participants to embrace new possibilities for sustainable development within the industry.
