Addenda Chemical focuses on the research, development, production, and application of flame retardants and smoke suppressants as well as battery additives. Headquartered in Guangzhou, the company runs branch offices in Shanghai and New Delhi, with two production bases.
 

The company was founded in 2011.

The Flame Retardancy & Smoke Suppression Application Laboratory was set up in 2015.

India branch opened in 2018.

Huzhou Factory went online in 2019.

Shanghai branch set up in 2021.

Chemical analysis & synthesis lab finished in 2022.

New Shaoguan factory under construction in 2026.

We deliver high-performance, reliable flame retardancy and smoke suppression solutions for diverse industries including new energy equipment, building materials, rail transit and electronic appliances.

Our Huzhou plant opened in 2019 with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications. Covering 20,000 sq.m., its annual output hits 15,000 tons of battery materials and 20,000 tons of flame retardant & smoke suppression products.

The aerial view on the right shows our Shaoguan plant under construction. Invested at 30 million USD across 66,000 sq.m., it is designed to produce 29,000 tons of battery materials and 20,000 tons of flame retardant & smoke suppression products per year.

It features an all-in-one R&D platform integrating material synthesis, formula application and testing characterization. We rely on independent innovation and precise testing to drive technical upgrades, realizing full industrial chains from molecular design to finished product application.

Innovation is Addenda’s core strength. We own over 20 invention patents. With more than 15 years of focus on flame retardant and smoke suppression technologies, we have accumulated over 100,000 formulation and testing cases through in-depth fundamental research.
