MaterChem to Showcase Functional Grafted Polymers at VietnamPlas 2026 | Booth B1036

Ningbo Nengzhiguang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. Functional Polymers for Three Key Purposes

MaterChem develops graft-modified polymers for compatibilization, impact modification and adhesion. Its product range includes maleic anhydride (MAH)-grafted polymers, glycidyl methacrylate (GMA)-grafted polymers and specialty functional polymers.

The main product groups include compatibilizers, coupling agents, impact modifiers, tie-layer resins and adhesive resins. These products can improve compatibility between different polymers, strengthen the interface between polymers and fillers or glass fibers, increase impact strength and provide adhesion between different material layers.

In polymer compounding, materials with different polarity or surface properties do not always work well together. A weak interface may cause poor dispersion, low mechanical strength or unstable performance, especially when recycled materials or high filler loading are used.

Functional groups such as MAH and GMA add reactive or polar sites to a polymer backbone. With the right grade and dosage, these materials can improve interfacial bonding and be tested on existing compounding lines. Product selection should consider the base resin, filler, moisture, processing conditions and required properties.

Materials for Compounding and Multilayer Structures

MaterChem products are used in engineering plastics, polymer blends, TPE/TPR compounds, recycled plastics, filled and fiber-reinforced compounds, HFFR cable compounds and wood-plastic composites (WPC).

For multilayer structures, MaterChem offers tie-layer resins for films, panels, pipes and metal-plastic bonding. The team can recommend suitable grades according to the base resin, filler or reinforcement, processing method and target performance.
