Description
Zinc stearate is used as a dispersant in the color masterbatch,which can promote the pigment to disperse evenly and prevent agglomeration,requiring its melting point to be lower than the resin,excellent compatibility with the resin,and good affinity with the pigments.
During masterbatch production,zinc stearate forms a lubricating film between metal screw components and filter screens in its molten state.More importantly,it acts as a lubricant and dispersant between calcium carbonate and plastics during melting.
By adjusting the addition ratio of zinc stearate,the fluidity of the masterbatch increases,without causing inorganic powder precipitation in final products when the addition amount is less than 1.5%.
