Flame Retardant

FR-AHP02S is a white powdery non-halogenated flame retardant based on a phosphorus-silicon system for polyamide(PA/nylon). This product achieves its flame retardant effect via a combined gas phase and condensed phase mode of action. FR-AHP02S is specially developed for high temperature nylon, and exhibits excellent compatibility with polymer resins. It offers advantages including low addition amount, less blooming and mold corrosion during processing in contrast to conventional products based on phosphorus-(P), phosphorus-nitrogen-(P-N), or phosphorus-silicon-(P-Si) systems.

FR-AHP02S is suitable for both glass fibre reinforced and non-reinforced nylon (PA6 and PA66), with excellent mechanical and electrical properties, such as good insulation, good colour stability, and less blooming, which can withstand the demanding requirements of PA applications.
