BIO ADDITIVE MASTERBATCH – PLA & PBAT BASED

PLA & PBAT Based Bio Additive Masterbatch is a specially formulated biodegradable/compostable polymer-based masterbatch designed for use in compatible plastic applications. It combines PLA (Polylactic Acid) and PBAT (Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate) to provide a balance of biodegradability, flexibility, processability and mechanical performance.
The masterbatch can be incorporated into suitable polymer formulations to develop more environmentally responsible plastic products while maintaining the required processing characteristics and end-use performance.

Technical Note
The PLA/PBAT ratio and formulation should be selected according to the final application and processing method. The biodegradability/compostability of the final product depends on the complete formulation, additives, thickness and applicable environmental conditions. For commercial compostability claims, the finished product should be tested against the relevant standards.
