✔In order to obtain satisfactory mechanical and flame retardant performance for products with very high-content Mg(OH)2, it must be uniformly dispersed in the product. It is advisable to use a twinscrew blending extruder and a reasonable feeding method.
✔To reach UL94V-0 grade with single-component formula of Mg(OH)2, it needs to add volume up to 60% of the total material. However, if only smoke suppression is required, the usage of Mg(OH)2 can be lower.
✔Để sản phẩm có hàm lượng Mg(OH)2 cao, đạt được tính cơ học và chống cháy thì Mg(OH)2 phải phân tán đều trong sản phẩm, vì vậy cần sử dụng máy đùn trộn trục vít đôi và phương pháp Mg(OH)2 thêm liệu hợp lý.
✔Nếu Mg(OH)2 được sử dụng như một công thức chống cháy đơn lẻ cho các sản phẩm cao su khác nhau, để sản phẩm đạt đến mức chống cháy UL94V-0, chất độn nên được sử dụng lượng phải hơn 60% tổng nguyên liệu. Tuy nhiên, nếu chỉ dùng Mg(OH)2 để khử khói thì lượng sử dụng có thể thấp hơn.
