Extruder screw elements

The screw elements of a twin-screw extruder are the core components of the machine, primarily responsible for functions such as material transportation, shearing, mixing and plasticizing. Their performance directly affects the extrusion efficiency and product quality.
Select based on material properties: For high-viscosity materials, shear elements and narrow-pitch conveying elements can be selected to provide sufficient shear force and pressure to propel the material forward; for low-viscosity materials, the number of wide-pitch conveying elements can be appropriately increased to enhance the conveying efficiency. If the material contains special components such as fibers, elements that can effectively disperse and mix the fibers need to be considered.
