Description
PPO H160-TR delivers high thermal performance at a low density of 1.08 g/cm³.
It provides robust mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of 83 MPa, flexural strength of 126 MPa, and flexural modulus of 2820 MPa, alongside impact resistance (notched impact: 55 J/m; unnotched impact: 450 J/m). Thermally, it achieves an exceptional HDT (0.45 MPa) of 160°C, along with a melt flow rate (MFR: 12 g/10min @280°C/5kg) and mold shrinkage of 0.5–0.7%. Its flammability rating is UL94 HB @3.0mm.
Designed as a transparent, food-contact grade material for injection molding, it is specifically engineered for microwave-safe food containers requiring optical clarity, thermal resistance, and food safety compliance.
