ＰＰ片材机生产PP片材不仅透明度高、阻隔性好，密度低、无毒卫生环保，而且废品还可以回收利用，在加热或燃烧时不会产生有毒有害气体，不危害人体健康，也不腐蚀设备，，是一种新型的绿色环保包装材料。PP片材通过加热成型第二次加工形式可制成各种制品，主要用于食品、医药、医疗器材等包装。如果加工成果冻盒、乳品包装盒、快餐盒、冷饮容器、托盘、微波炉用具等可用于食品包装；加工成泡罩可用于药品片剂、胶囊等固体制剂的包装等。在国外尤其在发达国家和地区，透明PP片材在食品包装等领域的应用。
