Modified Black 9T

PA9T (Polyamide 9T), known by the brand name Genestar™, is a high-heat-resistant nylon resin developed by Japan's Kolon Industries with their own special techniques and self-made monomers, and they were the first to mass-produce it. The unique molecular structure of PA9T (long carbon chains + partially aromatic backbone) gives it a bunch of great properties, excelling in water absorption, dimensional stability, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. It's widely used in high-end areas like electronics, cars, and industrial parts.
Main Application Areas
1. Electronics and Electrical (Core Applications)
PA9T's low water absorption and high heat resistance make it particularly suitable for high-density mounted components such as SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) connectors, FPC connectors, wire-to-board connectors, memory slots, and card connectors. It is also widely used in automobiles and industrial equipment with high-voltage development.
2. Automotive Parts
PA9T combines long-term heat resistance, chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and fuel barrier properties, making it suitable for:
