PVC foaming regulators are acrylate processing aids. The only difference is the molecular weight, in this case, foaming regulators is much higher than that of general processing aids.
In the PVC foaming formula, to obtain a more uniform, fine, and independent foam structure product, a foaming regulator is needed to add in the formula system besides the foaming agent such as AC foaming agent.
The foaming regulator can promote the melting of PVC, improve the surface finish, the elasticity, the elongation and strength of the compound. It is beneficial to cover the bubbles and prevent the cells from collapsing.
