Description
Twin-screw extrusion is the standard processing method for polymer mixing and compounding, and has expanded into other application developments for new materials. Extruders offer a high degree of process flexibility, with greater control over process parameters, enabling the production of a wider range of products. There is a continuous mixing process in which the base matrix and various additives are transformed into new compounds. Extrusion provides benefits for a variety of products beyond traditional polymer processing.
