CA – 30 Calcium Stearate
CA-30 is a neutral calcium soap and a powerful mould release agent for plastics and alloy mould casting processes. It exhibits hydrophobic properties and acts as an adhesion protector in rubber. CA-30 is highly compatible with all rubber and plastic applications.
It is also used as a stabilizer in plastic and PVC formulations, particularly in applications requiring high-temperature resistance and utilized in PVC calcium-zinc stabilizers to enhance their performance and effectiveness.
Lubrication Mechanism: Calcium stearate forms a thin, lubricating film on the surface. It is often used as an internal lubricant in polymer processing, which helps reduce friction and improve the flow of materials.
