PA6韌度比較好，PA6與PA66相比，它的熔點較低（溫度），PA6的抗衝擊性比PA66好但吸濕性也更強。PA6工程塑料具有較高的伸張強度、抗衝擊性能、耐磨性、通過改性（增韌劑、玻璃纖維填充）使其綜合性能更加優異。
