Description
PPO HG10-BU, a 10% glass-fiber reinforced grade, delivers enhanced mechanical properties at a density of 1.13 g/cm³.
It offers high mechanical strength, including a tensile strength of 80 MPa, flexural strength of 117 MPa, and flexural modulus of 3728 MPa, alongside good toughness (notched impact: 11.8 KJ/m²; unnotched impact: 37 KJ/m²). Thermally, it achieves an HDT (0.45 MPa) of 136°C, along with low mold shrinkage (0.4–0.6%). Its flammability rating is UL94 HB @1.6mm.
Designed for injection molding in water treatment applications, this general-grade material is ideally suited for structural components such as water pump impellers and water valves, requiring mechanical durability, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance.
